Floor Clerk and Kitchen Clerk at QuikTrip #841I began as a floor clerk learning basic customer service and communication skills, teamwork, relationship-building, standard upkeep, keeping track of perishables/grill items, and managing inventory. I eventually moved up and started working in the kitchen where I quickly learned to handle food, prepare menu items, and time management. QuikTrip has a secret shopper and grading system to make sure the quality of service is high. I maintained a grade of 100 for several weeks (thanks to an amazing 2A who trained me) and received many bonuses until I eventually left for another opportunity despite being offered a pay raise.
