Bearcat Landscaping was founded in February 2023. At first, my business partner and I started it to supplement our Co-Op and reduce our tuition debts. In July 2024, we hit our first 5-figure month in retained earnings and soon realized that there was a huge market gap in the residential space in Cincinnati. Not only has this demand forced us to grow and evolve to learn countless critical business skills such as navigating tax terms and insurance policies; project management and payroll; as well as marketing and branding, but we were also exposed to dozens of new trending 2024 property management renovations such as lime-wash painting, custom fan instillation, and security system wiring. As we begin looking to move into the real estate investment space. Our skills not only have generated us lasting cash-flows but also provided insightful skills for our future properties.

Using Facebook groups, web-based marketing, direct selling, and a compelling product copy, I was able to singlehandedly bring in 23K between Ad sales, events, and donations (~130% increase from the previous fiscal year).
