The mission of Hope for the Fatherless (HFTF) is to see children thriving in families instead of being cared for in institutions. HFTF accomplishes this through domestic adoption (training and equipping adoptive parents and placing orphaned children into their forever families), small group homes where children can heal and thrive in safe, loving, peaceful environments, and a family preservation/sponsorship program to support vulnerable children so they can remain in their families and not become orphaned. HFTF seeks to create a culture of domestic adoption in Ethiopia, because kids belong in families not institutions.
