    As my neighbor's health declined, she looked to me for help in her daily life. At the age of twelve until I turned sixteen, I worked in her home. I cleaned bathrooms, swept, mopped floors, collected the trash, recycled weekly, and prepared food. As those were common items on my to do list, my job also extended to the projects around the house and outside as well. I maintained the pool, provided landscaping, and watched over the house in my spare time. I had deep cleaning for when my neighbor had house guests, reorganizing parts of the house to her liking, and made grocery trips when she wasn't able to make it herself. I soon become aware of issues before even she was aware of them and soon dealt with them.This job was essential to my neighbor because she was physically and mentally unable to do these tasks herself. She was physically handicapped and moved from walker to walker and only stood to move to a different chair.

Here I volunteered to just talk to them and entertain them.
