Assurance of Asset Management, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger systems.Parker has an experienced understanding regarding governmental funds (including debt service and proprietary funds). He also has experience with issuing modified accrual fund specific financial statements as well as full accrual government-wide financial statements.On an annual basis, Parker would work on about 30+ new client projects focused on the growth of Caselle and brining in new revenue. A given project could be anywhere from $5K-$200K, depending on the size of the client’s database, customer base, and financial data. In this role, Parker worked with a team of accountants to ensure quality and efficiency in a successful transition from a legacy accounting software into Caselle. Parker was responsible for converting accounts payable vendor information and invoices, typically based off of 1099’s. He also specialized in building out state compliant chart of accounts to ensure other system modules would work seamlessly.Parker would spend countless hours ensuring that trial balances matched between systems and that transactions had come over properly. This also entailed proper close year end procedures and ensuring that controls could be implemented into the system.This position would require Parker to travel on site multiple times throughout the year related to client training, onboarding, questioners, establish controls, etc.

Government AccountingIn this position, Parker worked with and led a team of accountants to assist in audit preparation and assurance for Caselle cliental. He spearheaded compliance with state transparency reporting, specifically for Utah clients. He also routinely assisted in month and year end closing processes, including bank reconciliations and preparing financial statements. Most often, it was required of Parker to make analysis between Balance Sheet and P&L items. Ethics and the integrity of the accounting system were of the utmost importance to Parker and held others to that same standard.Parker was also involved in the training and recruitment of new employees. His firm understanding of accounting basics allowed him to include and work with a diverse group of business professionals and accountants. This was especially prevalent at Caselle’s annual conference meetings that included people from all across the United States and Canada. Year end was always Parker’s favorite - a time of organization, communication, and new beginnings for new controls and improved procedures. Parker routinely worked with Caselle clients to accurately complete 1099’s, W-2’s, etc. While his impact and responsibilities at Caselle cannot merely be summarized in a few short paragraphs, suffice it to say, he was a crucial part of the company’s success and growth. Due to the nature of Parker’s work, he worked daily with 20+ different clients - a major cog in the machine that helped Caselle achieve and maintain profitability.
