Usually working as a two-man team, we set the job up to the proper specifications that the drilling engineer provides. We showed attention to detail as we assembled our tools and made sure it is in accordance with the BHA being run in the hole. As the drilling process takes place, we had to interface with the drilling crew and company men for a smooth and efficient operation. We made sure our tool is sending up the correct data needed for us to properly perform our job, whether it be the direction and angle needed, or the formation logging data. We had to trouble shoot from surface if any disruptions occurred so we would not cause down time for the rig.

I also worked my way into becoming an independent contractor for Leslie’s Poolmart Inc., and helped with the sale of pool equipment, along with pool equipment repairs and installs. I handled inventory of equipment and materials along with budgeting for the future. I was able to build relationships with customers and gained their trust by producing excellent work and following through with what was promised. I have gained great knowledge about business, sales, and how to communicate with people from this experience.
