Hi, I am Parker Messick. I graduated high school in 2013 with a 3.86 cumulative GPA. Early on in life, I learned hard work ethic working on a farm moving irrigation pipe, working on a ranch taking care of horses, and doing landscaping and lawn maintence. I have worked in fast food at Arctic Circle, and climbed the ladder to supervisor. I then worked at Ridleys Family Markets, beginning as a cashier and working my way up to Night Manager and then Deli Department Manager. I became interested in pursuing work in the oil and gas field, having previously worked at Redi Services doing maintenance at Shute Creek Gas Plant, and got a job as a Roustabout at SOS Well Services. after 2 years I became a Roustabout Lead at SOS. I aspire to make a career of the oilfield, working as an operator. I have experience Operating forklifts and backhoes and maintaining them, using tools and maintaining them, and working as a team to get the job done. I have training and experience working in hazardous environments and keeping myself and others safe. I have first aid training, industrial safety training, CPR training, AED training, fire suppression training, fall protection training, and respirator training. I have experience attending safety meetings, writing job safety analysis sheets, using lockout tag out procedures, conducting equipment and tool inspections, and keeping a clean, orderly work environment. I have experience supervising and managing coworkers, as well as communication skills and a gentle, yet assertive demeanor. In supervisor positions, I am always open to new ideas to more effectively get the job done safely. I believe in working as a team and showing everyone respect in order to keep a good morale in the workplace. I believe in punctuality, integrity, hard work ethic, honesty, adaptability, accountability, and reliability. I always aspire to put my best foot forward and get the job done with a good attitude as efficiently and safely as possible.
