As a community coordinator it is my job to provide inclusion and diversity for the Aggie Village community. We provide educational program as well as events dedicated to community development. As a woman of color, I believe it is paramount to create environments dedicated to learning and representation within housing and dining services at Colorado State University.I have created programs dedicated to financial literacy, cultural holidays, college resources and social justice. Due to these programs being hosted at Aggie Village community residents have been able to learn while also creating connections with other residents. These programs help residents spark conversation they would otherwise not have with community coordinators as well as other residents. These conversations help create diversity and create a community dialogue that a crucial to the development and growth of individuals.
