Responsible for establishing the Y in new communities of our service area. Primarily in Western Washington County and parts of Columbia County. This includes exploring potential partnerships, opportunities for services/programs, and integrating into areas as a trusted partner to help build a strong community.

My primary responsibility in this position is to steward the Y’s cause and advocate for the Y’s mission and strategic plan, by promoting and protecting the brand and reputation as a global, inclusive organization. I oversee the operations in the ‘West Region’ of the YMCA of Columbia-Willamette, participate in financial, staff, volunteer, and philanthropic development, as well as collaborate with community stakeholders.

During my time at The Sherwood YMCA I served as the Teen Center & Youth Sports Director. I was responsible for developing and implementing programs for youth grades 6-12 as well as organizing all Youth Sports Leagues and Programs at the Sherwood YMCA.

As a Coach, I serve as a positive role model for the athletes in our program while cultivating a positive and safe culture of the Sherwood High School Boys Basketball Program. Responsibilities also include teaching players during practices and games, creating and implementing schemes for opponents and developing strategies for optimizing performance.
