I recently graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a major in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and a minor in Entomology. I recently accepted a position with the USDA doing research in their Invasive Insects Biocontrol & Behavior Laboratory. Over the last year and a half of my undergraduate studies, I worked in an entomology research lab on campus gaining knowledge and skills that are vital to working in academia.Throughout college, I also worked for the UMD Football team as an equipment manager. This entails 30+ hours of work per week of setting up, tearing down, and running practices, as well as preparing throughout the week for games. I go to all games, home and away, and am responsible for the transportation of a semi-truck full of gameday equipment for coaches, players, media, nutrition, operations, and the rest of the staff at Jones Hill House.
