I have always valued and had a passion for three things- leadership, public speaking, and serving others. I've had the opportunity to pursue each of these values in some way throughout my life. My passion for leadership first began when I had the opportunity to use my experience and knowledge in tennis to coach groups of under privileged children in Memphis, Tennessee. Through this I gave them a goal to strive for, achieving success they didn't know was possible. I've had the opportunity to pursue public speaking by starting the first bible study in my fraternity at Florida State. I give weekly sermons to talk about the many problems that face our generation, especially as college students. Through this, I have introduced numerous people to Christianity.I was able to demonstrate my passion for serving others through being a camp counselor and working as a bar back in a restaurant. During my time at camp, I was able to listen to and mentor many high school students who had a desire to better themselves and others. My time working at the restaurant taught me the core values of hospitality. I learned how important it is to value the customer and have a positive attitude. Now I am looking for an internship or a job in a field that I feel combines all of those passions- sales. Specifically, medical device sales. Speaking, putting others before yourself, and leadership are all traits that will be extremely useful for me in this profession. Not only am I excited to enter this field, but I am even more excited for the hard work and relationships that will follow.
