CurrentImproving our world by getting more people on bikes is the mission of Cruzbike. We are an innovative manufacturer and retailer of bicycles that allow people to experience the joy and freedom of cycling without the discomfort associated with traditional bicycles. I work closely with designers to imagine and bring to market bicycles that are comfortable, safe and put the rider in an ideal position to view the world - bikes that are a delight to ride. I'm an ultra-endurance cyclist who holds the over-50 record for Race Across America, and multiple 12 and 24 hour cycling records on my Cruzbike. I spend hours each day on my Cruzbike both for exercise and as practical transportation around my hometown of Lumberton, NC.After my sister’s diagnosis of brain cancer, I began using my bicycle racing as a platform to raise money for desperately needed research through a non-profit called 3000 Miles to a Cure. Many have now joined me and together they have raised more than $300,000 for research.
