About Parker Robbins

I am currently a Postbaccalaureate Research Assistant in the Prof. Joshua Hartshorne's Language Learning Lab at Boston College. This fall, I will be applying to PhD programs in language science. I am interested in formal, experimental, and computational approaches to understand how human language works. My primary research interests are in morphology and syntax, first language acquisition and attrition, and documenting understudied languages.My background: I graduated from Northeastern University in 2019 with a major in Linguistics and a minor in French. I worked as a research assistant at the Language Learning Lab at Boston College in 2017 and in the Snedeker Lab at Harvard in 2018-19. Before my current position, I was a Lab Manager in Dr. Zhenghan Qi's Language Acquisition and Brain Lab at the University of Delaware.
