I am fascinated by what can be measured if you understand the measurement technique, the conditions and the requirements, but I believe that the important thing is to use the measurement data to achieve something. This can be direct process control to improve quality, yield and productivity or to build knowledge to improve the product and process over time. Or both.I have been working with development, sales and implementation of optical measurement systems for the process industry for 25 years. My ambition now is to utilize the experience to contribute to improvements in a broader perspective, but also to widen my experience in measurement technology and applications.I currently work with technical development for the wood industry, which I have realized is extremely technology intensive and inspiring.
