The speed of rollout (7000 locations in 6 months) was instrumental in fully capturing the annual benefit.Successfully implemented several large projects including Dual Card Acceptance (Shell at Texaco, Texaco at Shell), Loyalty program development, Payment Terminal Replacement, Giftcard Issuer Change, Next-Gen EPOS development and "Retail EPOS Enhancements Project".

The functionality included an integrated "Pay Point" with scanning, payment at the dispenser and a back-office application that drove a significant increase in fuel and store sales and increased gross profit and was subsequently implemented across the Canadian Retail network.Developed functional specifications and facilitated vendor selection for the Integrated "Point of Sale" and back office business Management applications.Managed software development and quality assurance of the new systems and the development of the the support infrastructure needed to maintain the systems.Supervised a team of contract employees that coordinated field deployment.

Managed $3,000,000 maintenance budget for 200 retail locations in northern Ontario, Canada.Managed the decommissioning and environmental remediation of twenty retail outlets removed from the network with a budget of $5,000,000 and met all government reporting requirements.Developed and rolled out a $500,000 merchandising program for forty locations that drove a %10 increase in Convenience Retail Sales.Managed safety and site image standards while achieving budget targets.

Provided technical support to a cross functional team that sourced and installed a credit card payment system for a network of 3000 retail outlets. The $5,000,000 projected resulted in a 50% reduction in credit card processing costs including a reduction in credit card float from 20 days to 2 days.Drove ongoing updates of functional specifications and quality assurance scripts post implementation leading to the development and deployment of three subsequent versions of the POS software that increased penetration, capability, optimized cost and improved reliability.Managed installation and ongoing support of a national telecoms network based on telecoms Canada's Datapac 3000 and 3201 (X.25) communications protocols.
