As Chief Historian of the Korea Zero Foundation, I am responsible for the creation, curation, and archiving of historical articles and materials about the Korean War. I write and edit articles about little-discussed events from the war as well as American and South Korean veterans. I also assist the CEO, COO, and CFO in managing foundation funds for veteran assistance initiatives.Korea Zero Foundation is a registered corporation in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

As the Founder & Chief Historian of Tales of the First Team, I am responsible for all operational procedures pertaining to TFT. The largest projects I am engaged in are historical research, liaisoning with archives and veterans, maintaining archival materials, acquisition of artifacts, writing and editing articles, and public outreach.

As the Logistics & Acquisitions Intern at the W&M Korean American Student Association, I was tasked with overseeing the logistics of critical physical marketing initiatives in tandem with the club treasurer and president. I implemented logistical and business key concepts to provide seamless acquisition of marketing material which boosted club morale, improved fundraising marketing campaigns, and supported campus-level activism initiatives.

As the Lead Historical Research Intern for the 1st Cavalry Division, I worked in conjunction with the division Commanding General and his staff to produce historically meaningful documents relating to the 1st Cavalry Division. I also worked closely with the Commanding General on acquisitions for and refinement of the division's museum.In conjunction with the division's Executive Officer to the Commanding General, I assisted greatly in the revision of The Black Book: History of the First Cavalry Division, the renovation of The Patch Room, and the reinvigoration of the First Team History Walking Tour. I am also working on projects relating to the division's service in Bosnia, Korea, and Vietnam, refinement of the museum, refurbishment of exhibits around Fort Hood, TX, and more.For my work with the division, I was awarded the Civilian Service Commendation Medal on March 8th, 2023.

As a Board Member of the City of Virginia Beach’s Mayoral Council Green Ribbon Committee, I was tasked with assisting the Mayor of Virginia Beach & Virginia Beach City Council in research, consulting, drafting of letters/bills, and more to spur sustainable and environmental-focused legislation. I was one of two local high school students on the committee to be appointed to it as well as vote on crucial legislation. My most proud accomplishment while with the Green Ribbon Committee was passing a $567.5 million dollar bond referendum during the 2021 Virginia General Election to improve Virginia Beach's floodwater retention infrastructure. This was the first bond referendum to pass in Virginia since 1988 and will foster the creation or improvement of 21 projects across Virginia Beach

As a Board Member of the City of Virginia Beach’s Historic Preservation Commission - Student Leaders Committee, I was appointed to help foster a deeper understanding of local history in the City of Virginia Beach. The VBHPC - SLC partnered with local historic sites and other governmental agencies to promote local history, preservation of historic sites, and engagement with the community.

As the Virginia Beach Surf & Rescue Museum's (VBSRM) Senior Docent, I assisted the VBSRM Executive Director in managing docents and leading guided tours for veterans, active-duty military, and other groups. Aside from this, I helped manage the museum gift shop, assist in exhibit research & creation, and media production. Media production at VBSRM included producing educational 1-2-minute long videos, longer educational & entertainment videos, managing museum social media accounts, and hosting podcasts.
