While studying Software Development at DeVry University I was introduced, not only to programing concepts, but network and information security cores, frameworks and best practices. This ignited an interest in being able to contribute to protecting data for both organizations and individuals while constantly obtaining knowledge in the ever changing landscape of technology. Coming from a sales development background at SAP Concur, and prior employers, I have learned the importance of communication, time management, and problem solving in an agile environment. This has led to me pursuing my aspirations for a career in cyber and I am now a Security & Compliance Lead working with different departments, stakeholders, and senior leadership for Concur being a part of SAP's Intelligent Spend and Business Network solution.My passion for helping others in partnership and with the aid of technology fuels some of my interests, like quantum computing and AI.
