The only contracted Development Director for MPS, a non-profit mental health agency that was begun in 1994 by a Sister of Mercy and psychologist, who responded to the documented need for affordable counseling for the poor and underserved in the Walnut Hills area of Cincinnati. In ten months, through grants and fundraisers I raised in excess of $77K. more than what had been raised in this agency's

and the only Public Relations Coordinator for a Mental Health non-profit agency established in 1973 to provide Community Outpatient services, School-bases services, and Special child/adolescent Programs. Responsible for assisting the CEO, reporting and assisting the Board of Directors, writing and editing internal monthly newsletter, quarterly External newsletter and yearly Annual Report. Was personally responsible for increasing donations by 42% during annual fundraiser.

This was a contract position. I reported directly to the Executive Director. I was editor of a monthly and quarterly internal newsletter, in addition to writing press releases, fund raising and assisting the ED and Board of Directors administratively. After the initial contract expired I contracted to work with the Director of Development at The Talbert House to educate the public about the wonderful work that was accomplished at this non-profit mental health organization. Through my efforts fundraising was increased by 45% over the previous year.
