As Project Manager, I worked in the Infrastructure and Construction Department.My tasks and responsibilities from inception to completion, commissioning and handover, related to electrical and mechanical systems are:- planning and organizing all the necessary control procedures- coordinating and manage internal staff, - manage and supervisor subcontractors,- coordinating and supervising the development of the works;- monitor headcount with budgets and achieved revenue,- ensure that projects are correctly staffed resources,- planning and organizing all necessary control procedures.Main projects:- extension to the Terminal 1 as a reference for the management and coordination of disciplines related to plant electrical and mechanical safety.The project consisted in two buildings (about 150.000 m2).The infrastructure is basically supplied from n. 3 MV/LV electrical systems and four cooling/heating station with seven HVAC station. It’s also providing with eighteen elevators.- construction of new heating networks (about 20 Km pipe line), water and fire-service for airport utilities. Revamping / construction of its 6 thermal power plants, pumping and attemperation,- set-up and monitor Cargo City infrastructure and logistic project.The project consisted in two where house buildings (more than 50.000 m2) destined to logistic, storage, management and shipment of goods and three office buildings, one seven floors high (about 13.000 m2) and the others two, three floor high (about 7.500 m2 each one).The infrastructure is basically supplied from n. 3 MV/LV electrical systems and one cooling station with three substations and five HVAC station. It’s also providing with eighteen elevators and parking area with automatic control system.

Set-up and monitor construction projects, under my control, manage staff, subcontractors, planning and organizing all the necessary control procedures.One of the most important projects putted up is the ABB head quarter. The building, consists in ten floors high (about 12.000 m2) for about 1.400 employs; a ground floor with reception, foyer, auditorium, meting rooms, self-service, bar; and two under ground floors for parking and technical areas.Its microclimate architecture is finalized to reach best environment comfort and reduce energy consumptions necessary to air-conditioning and heating system.The technologies called “chilled ceiling system” consist summarized in a combination between convective panel and cooling beam systems which provide to create with a convective natural air recycling the best environment comfort without noise air movements and ventilation. This approach is closely linked with building structure; its orientation and its capability to send back sun radiation.
