Hardware To Software Engineering Intern
At Boeing's Rapid Space Capabilities site in Kent, WA, I developed a satellite flight computer from the ground up using C/C++ for Linux and RTOS, where I handled UNIX signaling, UDP/IP communication, and implemented logging for up to six different commands. I also developed the interface that enabled the application to communicate with the GPS receiver, ensuring seamless integration of critical components. Additionally, I integrated the OpenC3/COSMOS test platform to rigorously test and simulate over 250 potential mission conditions. My contributions to the project included conducting unit testing with GoogleTest, engaging in team problem-solving, effectively balancing workloads with other interns, and maintaining clear communication in an Agile/SCRUM environment, all of which were key to the project's success and the quality of the application.
