As an Network and Systems Engineer at City of Port Orange, I provide hardware, software, and network support for various city departments and services, ensuring efficient and reliable IT operations. I also collaborate with other IT professionals and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, implement new systems and solutions, and optimize existing processes and workflows.I have over 20 years of experience in aeronautics, avionics, logistics operations, and information technology, both in military and civilian capacities. I served as an aircraft electrician and avionics technician for the US Coast Guard and Tyonek Native Corp, where I performed depot level maintenance and troubleshooting of T-6 trainer aircraft used by Navy and Air Force student pilots. I also led and trained teams of over eight personnel, managed inventory and documentation, and ensured compliance with safety and quality standards. I hold multiple IT certifications, including ITILv4, A+, Network+ Security+, Secure Infrastructure Specialist (CSIS) and currently working on CCNA. In addition to my technical skills and credentials, I have a passion for digital cinematography and creative storytelling. I earned a BS degree in digital cinematography from Full Sail University, where I learned various aspects of film production, such as scripting, directing, editing, sound design, and visual effects. I enjoy using my artistic vision and technical skills to create engaging and impactful content for different audiences and platforms in my free time.
