Sergeant Jones was great at connecting me with other individuals who had received their green beret and became Special Forces soldiers. He mentored me and instilled in me the confidence that I would be selected and “make it” through the course. I got selected and ultimately did not complete the course. Nevertheless, Sergeant Jones was there as a person to look to for career guidance after the fact. He certainly went above and beyond what a recruiter’s job would be.
