Founded AGV USA in late 1976 with the assistance of Dr. Elio Grandi of the Italian Industries Association in Washington DC. Charged with expanding and developing the market for AGV Helmets in the US and for optimizing the full potential of historical AGV brand name which was strong across the world. Provided constructive input in the areas of product development, marketing, product liability, risk management, sponsorship, advertising, sales, contracts, warehouse management, and distribution. Personally managed all aspects of the daily operations and relationships with dealers. Planned, scheduled and managed all activities related to the testing of AGV Helmets to the Department of Transportation Federal Safety Standards. FMVS 218. Identified markets and evaluated products for introduction into the US market. Worked closely with the media and dealers to ensure a successful launch of the AGV brand in the US.
