Parry Ravindranathan is the CEO and co-founder of Fintech start-up Converj. He is a Global Executive and Angel investor and was until recently President & Managing Director - International for Bloomberg Media overseeing all its businesses outside of North America. Bloomberg Media includes Bloomberg Television, Radio, Digital properties, OTT, Live events, Magazines, Licensing, partnerships and syndication. He managed editorial, content and commercial parts of the business and had oversight of product localisation, International P&L, expansion and investments. Prior to taking over the global role, he was the Managing Director of Asia for Bloomberg Media where he oversaw rapid expansion of its businesses making it among the dominant news media companies in the region. Before Bloomberg, he worked for Al Jazeera English, Network18, and CNN in various roles. Parry has extensive experience in international markets having lived on and worked in 3 continents and traveled to over 100 countries in his career as a journalist and senior media executive. He has hired and managed large, diverse teams across different geographies and cultures and has led product innovation, expansion and localization strategies. He serves on the board of digital media company Asiaville, is a co-founder of Fintech innovation start-up Valustat and Converj; is an angel investor in companies in tech, health-tech, media and AI.
