There are six occupational therapists who are elected by registrants of the College and three public members appointed by the provincial government.The College could not operate without the dedicated support of the board members. Key responsibilities of the board include setting and guiding the organization’s direction, ensuring necessary resources and monitoring performance to meet the College’s mandate.The board is responsible for ensuring the College fulfils its mandate, as set out in the Health Professions Act, the Occupational Therapists Regulation, and the College bylaws. -
Director, Pearson Dogwood RedevelopmentVancouver Coastal Health Jan 2016 - Feb 2017Vancouver, Bc, CaResponsible for the oversight of clinical planning, design and development of five health care facilities within the Pearson Dogwood site redevelopment. The health care components included a 150 Residential Care facility, an Adult Day Care center, 114 housing units for persons with complex disabilities, a Community Health Care center providing integrated care through the development of Primary Care homes and the replacement of a Therapeutic Pool. The project included redesign of operational delivery models for the care in all of the facilities, ensuring alignment with industry trends and planning for future care needs. Instrumental in this work has been the management of a variety of stakeholders with different priorities and expectations of future outcomes. -
