I help organisations, companies and individuals across Australia resolve their disputes, particularly where human rights have been infringed.I am an expert in reducing the stress on businesses dealing with disputes by managing and settling those disputes and also by helping to ensure that the issues leading to the disputes do not re-occur. My experience includes:Charities and not-for-profit entities: representing both religious entities and charities in institutional abuse claims across NSW, VIC and QLD, advising on entry into the National Redress Scheme, advising on charitable fundraising laws, licensing and regulation, compliance with information requests and contractual disputes.Education: regulatory investigations, advising on bullying, negligence claims, licensing and registration issues for childcare centres and non-government schools. Individuals: acting for individuals where their human rights have been infringed, particularly by way of abuse while in care. Commercial: all commercial litigation and disputes including sale of business disputes, contractual interpretation, fraud claims, advising on whistleblower legislation, property disputes (leasing, car parks, put and call options) and restraints of trade.Having been formally trained as a Nationally Accredited Mediator, this gives me the ability to see all the angles of a dispute.I have an innate ability to resolve disputes and pride myself on settling disputes without going to Court and by using alternative dispute resolution.
