Visionary entrepreneur who has co-founded three software companies, all leading to exits, two to public companies. Currently building TerraVision as a solo founder. (Described below). Recruited as turn-around CEO for three VC-backed companies because of extensive and diverse experience creating and leading high-growth companies with complex business models. Most significantly, defined the first two-sided marketplace for on demand services with a transactional business model and innovative mobile payment technology with a focus on social, local and mobile. These aren’t just buzz words of a participating team member, I co-founded the company and lead the team through every aspect of redefining an industry with new technology.Specifically, I started RideCharge to bring mobile payments to taxis and launched Taxi Magic which TechCrunch called “the first useful iPhone app.” Created the first marketplace for on demand ground travel, two years before Uber, and grew the app to 4M users and transaction revenue to $10M annually. Disrupted the taxi fleet business model, re-launched as Curb in order to unify supply across multiple local fleets and reduce time to cab assignment while creating driver reputation scorecards to improve reliability—all via machine learning. Exited to Verifone. My executive career began co-founding and leading RelTech, a boot-strap funded software business, at age 24. Seven years later, I negotiated our exit to a strategic public company where I then scaled annual enterprise sales from $12M to $50M in the first year. At ViewGate, I pivoted the market strategy and ramped sales of a telecom startup from $1M to $9M in my first 18 months. At Ecutel, I developed a business model and sales strategy for a stalled wireless VPN software company. And just prior to RideCharge, I co-founded and built Blue Cotton Tech Services, a consistently profitable local SMB IT-services consultancy which we sold in February 2016.
