About Sanders Partee

Visionary entrepreneur who has co-founded three software companies, all leading to exits, two to public companies. Currently building TerraVision as a solo founder. (Described below). Recruited as turn-around CEO for three VC-backed companies because of extensive and diverse experience creating and leading high-growth companies with complex business models. Most significantly, defined the first two-sided marketplace for on demand services with a transactional business model and innovative mobile payment technology with a focus on social, local and mobile. These aren’t just buzz words of a participating team member, I co-founded the company and lead the team through every aspect of redefining an industry with new technology.Specifically, I started RideCharge to bring mobile payments to taxis and launched Taxi Magic which TechCrunch called “the first useful iPhone app.” Created the first marketplace for on demand ground travel, two years before Uber, and grew the app to 4M users and transaction revenue to $10M annually. Disrupted the taxi fleet business model, re-launched as Curb in order to unify supply across multiple local fleets and reduce time to cab assignment while creating driver reputation scorecards to improve reliability—all via machine learning. Exited to Verifone. My executive career began co-founding and leading RelTech, a boot-strap funded software business, at age 24. Seven years later, I negotiated our exit to a strategic public company where I then scaled annual enterprise sales from $12M to $50M in the first year. At ViewGate, I pivoted the market strategy and ramped sales of a telecom startup from $1M to $9M in my first 18 months. At Ecutel, I developed a business model and sales strategy for a stalled wireless VPN software company. And just prior to RideCharge, I co-founded and built Blue Cotton Tech Services, a consistently profitable local SMB IT-services consultancy which we sold in February 2016.

REALTIME PREDICTIVE INSIGHTS FOR HEDGE FUNDS: Simple answers to high-value questions.Investors seek fundamental insights into the companies they invest in. They can gain a competitive advantage by licensing proprietary information that only a limited number of funds can find and afford. To build these high-value datasets, we strategically place cameras/sensors to collect images/data of business activities that map to key company performance insights. We can process that data with AI (Computer Vision/Machine Learning) to generate unique insights into high-value questions for Hedge Funds and other asset managers. Specifically, in our first two datasets we collect highly accurate and precise counts of every vehicle (Model Y or Cybertruck) produced by Tesla at the GigaTexas factory and all four models (S, X, 3, and Y) vehicles produced at Fremont, CA. Our 3rd dataset is of precise counts of Rivian production of the R1T, R1S, Amazon EDV, and now EDV for anyone wanting and electric delivery vehicle. We license this data to hedge funds seeking an information advantage for trading equities. Investors call this type of information Alternative Data or External Data because it's not published or directly sanctioned by the companies we observe. It is often built through innovative technology from unconventional sources. As we scale up, we expect to have numerous high-valued locations. We are hiring in several areas, DM me directly.

I have provided consulting to companies building two-sided Marketplace companies. I renamed my entity because I believe 1st, 2nd and 3rd goal of a marketplace business should be to create a service consumers what to repeat, repeat and repeat. The flywheel really moves when both sides of the marketplace are equally happy to participate in the transaction.I began this entity in 1995 to do angel investing after exiting RELTECH Products, my first software company. I have invested in local entrepreneurs in technology, real estate development, a retail clothing store, a boutique investment bank, several venture funds, and naturally, each of the companies where I served as a co-founder.

Recruited to build a marketplace for transacting commercial intelligence from scratch.Step one was to harvest economic activity from video streams:- Conceived and built a pilot project at Tesla Fremont to video every car produced by the factory 24/365prove a video stream could be converted into accurate and precise measurements of economic activity. - Build a stream management platform to control and protect the chain of custody of the data assets.- Developed AI engine (Computer Vision/Machine Learning) to generate counts of 1,000+ daily cars produced - Recruited overseas staff via Upwork to label images for training AI models and ultimately to validate AI counts.- For three consecutive quarters counted Tesla Fremont vehicles with essentially perfect accuracy.Validated data against Tesla reported production numbers and by hedge funds who have tracked the factory since inception. Step two was to test market the democratization of access to this type of Alt Data dataset normally the exclusive opportunity of hedge funds with large budgets to buy private data. - Conceived a product offering consisting of a count of Teslas produced each week, by all four model types produced at Tesla Fremont, the luxury S and X, plus the more affordable 3 and Y. The data would be delivered 1 day before the end of the quarter and 2 days before Tesla announced their production counts.- Delivered an e-Commerce website on top of Shopify that allowed individuals to purchase a license to the dataset and have that dataset delivered to all of them at precisely the same time.Step 3 was a realization that the B2C play was too early and that a B2B market to Hedge funds was a superior market entry strategy with that proven product market fit.

  • Reltech Products, Inc.
    Co-Founder, Executive Vice President
Reltech Products, Inc. Jan 1988 - Apr 1995
Co-founded this business with two Accenture colleagues after only 18 months of extensive on the job technical training. One of seven product companies launched that year with similar product initiatives and became one of two companies to make it past our second anniversary (at which time one founder left and sold his shares back to the company.)Initially launched and grew a DB2 consulting practice to provide boot-strap funding for the initial software development of a data dictionary/repository based in IBM's DB2. In addition to generating revenue, leveraged our important technical advisor relationship to secure mainframe computer access for our growing software development team because commercial timesharing was prohibitively expensive for our startup. After growing the team to 12 people in the first 18 months, I transitioned to running our enterprise Sales and Marketing efforts. In addition to managing the overall company with my remaining co-founder, was personally responsible for selling half of our 300 enterprise installations in Fortune 1000 companies. For the last year prior to sale, I focused on maturing and scaling our Customer Service and Product Development teams. Became lead negotiator on the M&A deal to Platinum.
  • Accenture
    Senior It Consultant
    Accenture Aug 1986 - Jan 1988
    Dublin 2, Ie
Staff Consultant assigned as the fifth member of a consulting team that would quickly grow to 150 and serve as the developers of a new TV ratings service based on an electronic "people meter" to compete with existing paper diaries of Nielsen Media Research. Quickly promoted to a five member tech team which provided the project's technical architecture, common core software methods and all pre-production code reviews. The system became the first non-IBM production use of DB2 and along the way provided a rare opportunity to learn this significant new IBM relational database for a brand new business with no legacy systems. Our young tech team developed technical knowledge through that unusual unfettered access to brand new mainframe technology.
