Reworked security of the eCommerce application by removing 2000+ vulnerabilities including warning on low quality passwords, encrypting all the sensitive data to SHA512, requiring SSL to access the application, and encoding URLS to prevent XSS attacks.Upgraded underlying frameworks like .net framework, nuget manager, SQL server, mongoDB to their latest stable release while keeping dependencies and core functionality unaffected. This allowed other developers to use the new functionalities and helped the application with performance and security improvements done to the technologies over the past years.Integrated SonarQube with Jenkins to automatically generate a security report with each build.Fixed bugs, improved documentation, actively helped as well reviewed code from other engineers and participated in the scrum process to ensure smooth running of the team.

Studied the deformation behavior of single crystal magnesium and its characterization by complex interplay of twinning and slip, owing to the lack of sufficient number of independent slip system that cause homogeneous plastic deformation, which is considered as one of the limitations of magnesium and its alloys in various applications.Worked with state-of-the-art machines like the FEI Helios NanoLab 660 (SEM machine), Alicona (3D micro-measurement machine), Instron 4482 (compression machine), and Nano-Indentation machines.Published a research paper for this work under the guidance of Prof. V. Aubin and Prof. E. Prasad, that was selected and approved by IIM at the NMD-ATM at BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa campus.
