Electronic Systems Verification And Validation Engineer
Current• Create and document test procedures to validate control systems software features • Create or develop mathematical machine plant models for subsystems as required using MATLAB/Simulink • Perform regression testing on releases of system/subsystem control software files and support integration and validation activities as required by the New Products Introduction (NPI) team • Design, develop, commission HIL test benches for NPI programs and create detailed documentation of the design to be used by the tester along with machine variant configuration wherever necessary • Review technical documentation to understand system architecture, interfaces, electronic properties of machine system/subsystem loads, system requirements, and software features • Collaborate with lead engineers and system software engineers to design a comprehensive test plan to verify and validate the functionalities of developed features • Develop automation scripts using dSPACE AutomationDesk and Python programming • Maintain and modify L6 & L4 dSPACE based HIL benches as necessary • Reproduce field issues in a laboratory environment • Coordinate with system engineers and software developers in debugging issues and provide logs and system configurations • Develop test procedures, perform tests to validate control system software features and document results
