With over 9 years of work experience in Restaurants and QSR and 6 plus years in E-Commerce, Travel & Tourism, I add a varied and enriched experience towards my professional career. Post completion of my Master’s Degree, I was employed with one of the leading American Restaurant and QSR chain who have more than 430 stores worldwide. I was part of their management team and was successfully operating their multiple stores across Australia. My last designation with that company was Director of Operations, Restaurant & QSR. After rooting back in India in 2015, I am currently employed with India’s 2nd largest online travel agency and currently hold the designation of DGM, Operations and lead the team for company’s expansion and day to day profitable operations. While heading the Hospitality and Travel business, I was working closely with various internal and external departments including finance, marketing, legal, tech, product and multiple vendors ensuring profitable and efficient expansion and operations of the business. As a team player and a leader, I always ensure the accuracy, integrity and efficiency of the team being utilized in the most productive and profitable manner. One of the key factors in both these profiles is my “start-up” experience. I joined both these companies when they were in the incorporation stage until the stability and profitability stage. This has allowed me to wear multiple hats at the same time giving me hands-on experience from the bottom of the corporate pyramid to the senior level position while keeping profitability as the key focus. This has fine-tuned a number of skills that are very relevant to the profitable operations of any business. In any business venture, a great deal of time and preparation goes in planning, organizing, budgeting and costing and I am familiar with all of these features. I know how to meet deadlines while keeping up in the fast-paced environment, and I never lose sight of the overall goals of the smallest details. Working in different fields has allowed me to use a great deal of my interpersonal and communication skills.
