The primary hurdles included sparse prior research and the lack of a precise architectural framework for implementing generative AI solutions in medical settings. To overcome these obstacles, our team developed innovative generative AI approaches using Vision Transformers (ViT) and Variational Autoencoders (VAE). These technologies were specifically tailored to forecast disease progression from prior medical images, thereby aiding doctors and medical professionals in tracking diseases more effectively and improving treatment planning.
