As a Professor at University of Mumbai, I lead the Masters program in Project Management. In addition to my academic role, I am the Principal Owner of Ajgaonkar Associates, a design and construction firm that offers innovative and cost-effective solutions for various building types. I have over 25 years of experience in managing multiple projects and delivery methods in India, United States, UAE, Qatar, Mexico, and West Indies. I have successfully transitioned my firm from cost-plus to lump-sum to design-build projects, reducing the construction costs along the way. My mission is to create spaces that enhance the quality of life, the well-being of the users, and the harmony of the environment. I have a history of effective collaboration with clients, government officials, stakeholders, and team members, and a proven ability to resolve complex issues and challenges in the architectural practice. I am passionate about learning new technologies, trends, and best practices in the field, and sharing my knowledge and experience with the next generation of architects.
