As a Frontend Engineer at Deloitte Digital, I have played a pivotal role in developing and optimizing both e-commerce applications and internal component libraries. My work on the e-commerce application involved building the cart page from scratch, where I meticulously handled complex cart calculations, rewards management, and seamless checkout logic. These efforts have significantly improved the shopping experience for over 1 million users and reduced cart abandonment rates. I also developed Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) from the ground up, enhancing the Spartacus login module to protect over 10,000 users daily. Additionally, I led the upgrade of the promotion engine, implementing advanced cart calculations and diverse promotional scenarios that resulted in a 14% increase in promotional engagement and flawless execution. Furthermore, I implemented RTL support from scratch, ensuring the application’s accessibility and usability for users in RTL language regions. Also delivered multiple email templates using SFMC email templates. Additionally, my collaboration on optimizing the codebase, including modernizing legacy components, has resulted in an 8% increase in application performance. In parallel, I contributed to Deloitte’s widely used component library, delivering over 30 components, including 8 high-complexity components. This library now supports thousands of frontend developers across more than 100 projects, significantly boosting developer productivity. My focus on reusability, accessibility, and adherence to modern UI standards has made these components easy to integrate, reducing development time considerably. To ensure the highest quality, I performed component testing using Jest, achieving over 96% code coverage and reducing bugs in production by nearly 50%.
