I have always wanted to explore and keep learning. Even if that is a bad learning I learn to not do it again and I always utilise the good learnings in someway or the other in my life. To explore new things I chose B.Tech at NIT Durgapur in a department of least interest over a B.Sc at my hometown. It was so because Durgapur will get me an exposure to Kolkata which always has a way more opportunities than any other cities in the Eastern Part of the country.Got myself involved in societies, fests and sports just to know as much people as I could along with gaining knowledge and experience.I grabbed a onsite internship at OYO Rooms which gave me an opportunity to know the business world in a better way. Before this I was just doing virtual internships. As I was about to complete my internship tenure at OYO my manager asked me to join back in the next break again without appearing for any interviews. So I grabbed another internship there.I wanted to join the corporate world in a management vertical/function, but it didn't happen. I got placed as a SDE at Genpact. Working there for a year or so I started looking for opportunities in the management verticals again. I didn't know my manager at OYO started up his own venture. One day he gave me a call and offered me to be a member of his team. I joined with excitement and wore multiple hats at the same time from Product Manager to managing multiple projects at the same time it was fun.Now I am looking for more exciting opportunities to get into.
