Whether it was controls integration for Mergers & Acquisitions, rationalizing SOX programs, Agile Innovation or SAP GRC solutions to enhance fraud detection, my focus was always on innovation and sustainability. I collaborated across industries, bringing a cross-disciplinary perspective that drove organizational transformation, particularly in integrating internal audit with broader business processes.

I safeguarded multimillion-dollar projects through strategic risk and fraud assessments. My role involved championing internal audit transformation initiatives that expanded audit scopes into non-traditional areas, such as technology implementations and marketing. I took pride in positioning PwC as a leader in comprehensive risk management solutions by integrating a broad spectrum of internal audit capabilities, including internal audit co-sourcing, project assurance, third-party risk management, data analytics, ERP controls rationalization, cybersecurity and privacy. My efforts in spearheading audit risk assessments & planning and authoring thought leadership pieces contributed to enhancing PwC’s consulting services and strengthening client relationships.

During my tenure at Tapestry, I enhanced the company’s global internal audit and risk management capabilities. As I progressed from Senior Analyst to Senior Manager, I managed the global Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) program and built strong global relationships that supported our financial, operational, and IT audits. I regularly advised leadership on financial controls, IT Governance, risk and controls. My groundbreaking work in creating and executing a financial planning and controls design for global store construction ($700MM in annual spend) and then a global privacy program set new standards for governance within the organization. I am particularly proud of the comprehensive risk and fraud assessments I conducted, which fortified overall audit and compliance posture shaping audit strategies that resonated at the highest levels of the company. I have a strong international background having lived and lead teams in APAC and Europe.
