As an Associate Scientist at MD Anderson Cancer Center, I advance computational biology to support oncology research as part of the Reverse Translation efforts within the TRACTION division of Therapeutics Drug Discovery. My work focuses on developing and automating multi-omics data workflows, including genomic and transcriptomic analysis, significantly improving our ability to process, analyze, and share large-scale biological data.I have led the establishment of new analysis pipelines, such as the enCas12a platform, and optimized existing workflows for CRISPR functional genomics, notably reducing turnaround times for data sharing with stakeholders. Additionally, I have contributed to integrating data management strategies across teams, facilitating a seamless transition of high-performance computing resources. My efforts also include creating visualization dashboards that empower biologists to explore preclinical and clinical datasets effectively.My goal is to leverage computational approaches to drive impactful insights in cancer research, focusing on building automated, scalable workflows and dashboards that bridge the gap between complex biological data and actionable therapeutic discoveries, including identifying new drug targets.
