In December 2021, CooperCompanies completed their acquisition of Generate Life Sciences. Through this, I have joined CooperCompanies as a part of their Corporate Development team.

Responsible for originating, structuring, underwriting and executing high yield issuances and syndicated leveraged loans used for general corporate purposes or to finance leveraged buyouts, asset acquisitions, and mergers in the energy sector- Build and sensitize financial models to determine potential financing alternatives/capital structures, internal rates of return, risk tolerances, appropriate covenant levels, syndication scenarios, and liquidity- Determine ratings impacts of different financing structures and create ratings agency presentations for issuers- Develop pitchbooks that present in-depth market analysis as well as financing solutions for different transactions- Author internal marketing materials and presentations for credit committee approval that comprise of detailed company and industry analyses, financials (historical and pro forma), and comparable companies analyses- Closed 31 transactions resulting in $14.6 billion of debt raisedSelected transaction experience:FTS International, Inc. – $1.3 billion of capital raised comprising of $550 million Institutional Term Loan (Left Lead Arranger), $500 million Senior Secured Notes (Left Lead Bookrunning Manager), and $200 million Asset-Backed Revolving Credit Facility (Left Lead Arranger) to refinance existing debt and prefund capital expenditures program- Prepared pro forma capitalization table and financial statements based on management’s guidance of future growth in different basins in terms of stages per well, revenue per stage, and other specific drivers- Prepared lender presentation, information memorandum, and investor presentations for the private company- Attended roadshow with management to educate investors seeking to invest in the companySouthcross Energy Partners – $450 million of capital raised in the form of an Institutional Term Loan (Left Lead Arranger) as a part of its merger with TexStar Midstream Services to purchase assets for the MLP from the GP

- Investment Management: PE FoF and HF FoF

- 1 of 24 students selected from the Cox School of Business to manage the $2.3M Ann Rife Cox Endowment Fund with the investment objective of obtaining 9% return for the year while maintaining appropriate risk tolerances- Recommend transactions by researching energy firms using financial data resources (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, etc.)

- Create quantitative models to predict and analyze currency and commodity trends using Excel- Test correlations between currency pairs, commodities, and stock market indices to help new clients find trading opportunities - Teach clients how to anticipate market movements and discuss how movements should be interpreted based on fundamental and technical analyses

- Created new, uniform capital budgeting model for EFH and Luminant’s IT departments to synchronize budget reporting processes, which has reduced budget reporting time by 85%- Monitored and forecasted project budgets and generated monthly metric reports- Analyzed and reported on orders intake (capital expenditures) and cash flow
