Project 1: FS Data Movement Detective Controls Jul. 2020 – PresentBuilt an application with multiple Lambdas and SQS to ensure whether all the FS Datasets have Lineage information (inputs, outputs, process) documented in the Exchange Portal.Scope: Python, Snowflake, Lambda, SQS, Onelake S3, REST API, Github● Used REST API to fetch over 80,000 FS datasets and get lineage for them.● Created metrics that will identify the % datasets with inputs missing, output missing and process missing.Project 2: Tech Engineering & Data Delivery Insights (HPU Conciliation) Jan. 2021 – Jun. 2021Designed an internal data warehouse using microservices and log tables for most up-to-data data of S3 and Snowflake Datasets.Scope: Python, Pycharm, Apache Airflow, Snowflake, Github, REST API● Created a dagger using python for 28 High Priority Datasets to check row count validation and schema validation and alert the Data Stewards if the daily data loads are running successfully and performing DQ Checks or not.● Wrote a sql script containing complex joins and unions to create different metric tables for the dagger.● Built a tableau dash that provides a consolidated view and implements controls on the health and delivery of data + engineering in the Financial Services sector of Capital One.Project 3: DTD Data Pipelines Aug. 2020 – Dec. 2020Processed incoming Json data from an SDP stream, compressed data into .dat format, loaded .parquet formatted data to a S3 bucket, and uploaded final data in readable format into a snowflake table.Scope: Python, S3 Datalake, Github, Service Now, Jenkins Pipeline● Successfully designed and implemented end-to-end, real-time data pipeline processing semi-structured XML data by integrating customer credit data from a SDP stream.● Monitor TDGRM Sub LOB’s Grafana dashboard for Whitesource, CxFlow, Container Vulnerabilities, and communicate and assign JIRA tickets to different component and ASV owners.
