The Column Group (TCG) is a venture capital firm focused on early-stage drug discovery companies. It invests heavily in unique scientific platforms capable of producing breakthrough therapeutics. I was part of a 5-member team and we analyzed future prospects in drug discovery, specifically targeting rare diseases indications. This project entailed a thorough study of rare diseases to identify promising opportunities.

As one of the youngest recipients of the BIRAC BIG grant (valued at up to $70,000), I pioneered a novel cholesterol-lowering probiotic to address rising cardiovascular health concerns within the Indian diaspora. My entrepreneurial drive and commitment to biotech innovation have led me to: 1. Innovative Development: Developed an indigenous probiotic with natural cholesterol-lowering properties, tackling cardiovascular disease globally. 2. Strategic Research & Project Management: Conducted in-depth research and planning to ensure project success. 3. Industry Collaboration: Worked closely with a Gwalior-based partner to drive consistent progress and strategic alignment. 4. Product Innovation: Partnered with Fermland Bio to create plant-based proteins and vegan meat, addressing nutritional needs in developing nations. 5. Financial Stewardship: Effectively managed grant funds across research, marketing, manpower, and more for optimal resource use. 6.
