I have a strong core understanding of formulating and implementing strategies, a result-driven attitude, and a versatile experience in handling orals, injectables, and innovative products, including biologics, biosimilars, and new chemical entities (NCEs).As the General Manager at Zydus Group for BioNext division , I lead the sales and marketing team for the gastroenterology and hepatology portfolio, with a focus on non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and Viral hepatitis. I have successfully launched and managed the flagship brands Exemptia, the first ever biosimilar of adalimumab, and Bilypsa (Saroglitazar), the first ever NCE by an Indian company and the first drug to be approved anywhere in the world for NAFLD & NASH. I have also conceptualized and led multiple novel initiatives focused on engaging key doctors, therapy awareness, market creation, and patient management at the national and global level. Additionally, I serve as the office bearer and lead of the Pharmaceutical Council, WICCI , where I collaborate with industry peers and stakeholders to advance the interests and goals of the sector.
