We at Tayt are aiming to bring luxury and nostalgia back home from the traditional craft roots of India. We work with multiple artisanal groups, train them, embrace their expertise intervented with urban design.

Worked on e-com fashion brand identity building - starting from the brand story, ideology, logo, packaging, and product line for multiple brands. Designed ranges and collections for the same as a part of their design team. Gained experience with both wovens and knits along with exploration of different printing and surface ornamentation techniques. Learned an overview of organizational working including costing, presentations, and pitch along with the delivery of design and technical specifications.

DESCAT UK is a b2b social enterprise working towards the major goal of reducing the carbon footprint of the textile industry by providing natural dyed handspun yarn, handloom knitted fabric, home, and fashion accessories for the slow fashion enthusiasts to achieve the ultimate goal. My role includes the design process - ideating themes and mood boards, product categories, and products along with social media management and content creation through Instagram, formulating newsletters and other promotional strategies.
