As a Vision Weaver, I excel at interconnecting 'mindscapes' and 'landscapes,' creating a cohesive vision and developing ideas to drive research-outreach initiatives with a focus on creating impactful experiences and promoting sustainability. My approach blends creativity, people skills, and a natural ability for stewardship to build strong, interdisciplinary teams.I chose to identify as a Vision Weaver because it symbolizes the uniqueness, inclusivity, and impact of weaving diverse thoughts and perspectives into a unified, transformative change. Much like a tree that exhibits both gravitropic processes (toward gravity) and phototropic processes (toward light), I thrive on delving deep into challenges while networking broadly to strengthen outcomes.If you ask me, I am a 'root kind of person.' I believe in going deep, challenging resistance, and spreading rootlets that benefit the organization I work for. Rooted in the core principles of content excellence, inclusivity, and impactful communication, my work often involves unseen efforts that lead to tangible and intangible successes. I firmly uphold the belief that robust content serves as the cornerstone of every meaningful endeavor. I recognize that nurturing innovation in research necessitates inclusivity, a mosaic of perspectives, and a profound understanding of human nature.In my current role as Co-Director at the Centre for Sustainable Development and Climate Action, I serve as a catalyst for transformative change. I nucleate and nurture interdisciplinary and cross-cultural teams, stewarding the development of impactful solutions for sustainable development for farmers, indigenous communities, and artisans.As the executive Coordinator for Special Projects and Global Networking, I am passionate about curating unique learning experiences for the Somaiya community. These initiatives span diverse domains, from agriculture to culture and art, connecting them with rural communities. This holistic approach empowers individuals to view complex issues from multiple angles, promoting innovation, empathy, and a deeper understanding of global challenges and opportunities.My blog, "Science in Doses," channels my enthusiasm for biosciences through captivating cartoons and sketch notes.
