Parvyn Singh is a Punjabi Australian singer, dancer and musician based in Melbourne. Best known for her work as vocalist in cult psychedelic band The Bombay Royale, Parvyn’s creative practice extends to beat making, composition and choreography. Her work is informed by electronica and jazz, her background in Sikh devotional music and her training in classical Indian music and dance. Parvyn’s current solo project synthesises a lifetime of work and represents a new step in her practice. Her debut solo record is due to be released in August 2021 funded by the Australian Council for the Arts and Creative Victoria.
