The President-Elect of the Junior League of Northern Virginia shall be nominated by the Nominating & Placement Committee. Will serve for one year and shall be in training for the office of the President and will assume the duties of the President in the President's absence.

Established the strategic (3-year) plan for all Junior League events and development; Assembled the JLNV Annual Plan that directs all major operations and initiatives for improving the Junior League.

Ensured facilities operated by the Junior League were maintained to the highest standards, including managing bids and presenting contracts for approval. Acted as part of the Operations Council, Leadership, Safety Advisory Committee

Coordinated the efforts of over 100 personnel in planning and executing a regional community event, with over 5,000 attendees. This includes managing financial (incoming and outgoing) obligations. Earned over $68,000 for the Jackson community.

USS Theodore Roosevelt CVN 71, USS George H.W. Bush CVN 77, USS Dwight D. Eisenhower CVN 69 and the United States Naval Academy. Ombudsmen are here to assist Navy families. Ombudsmen act as a liaison between the command and families, and communicate information about command and community resources to families. Your questions, comments, complaints, concerns, etc. will all be held in the strictest confidence, within the guidelines defined in OPNAVINST 1750.1D – the Navy Family Ombudsman instruction. An Ombudsman is an official representative of the Commanding Officer; he/she plays a vital role in establishing and maintaining current and accurate communication between the command and its family members An Ombudsman is a volunteer appointed by a Commanding Officer to serve as a link between command leadership and command families.

The Gift Wrap Committee is one of JLA biggest fundraisers for the league year. As committee chair I was in charge of ordering the supplies, securing our location for the month of December, organizing volunteers to help fill shifts for 4 weeks of wrapping holiday gifts at the mall and reconciling all transactions at the end of the season.During my two years as committee chair we help raise 28k for the Junior League of Annapolis.
