Project: Construction of Faculty of Nursing, Sri Jayewardenepura - Sri LankaKey responsibilities:• Determining needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to completion with attention to budgetary limitations and planning all construction operations• Arranging the works according to the activity program and priority recognition.• Guiding and giving instructions to technical staff to complete work successfully.• Having progress meetings & and discussions with sub-contractors.• Checking and recommending the bills of subcontractors.• Discussing and getting clarifications for the problems in drawings from the structural engineer and architect.• Determination of construction methods according to the quality standards.• Organizing and directing site staff and laborers.• Establishes detailed programs for the coordination of site activities.• Ensuring the site works are going according to the program.• Setting up work control systems to ensure safety measures are met.• Carrying out the engineering tasks according to the drawings and instructions.• Coordinating with consultants and clients regarding project issues• Attending and arranging progress meetings of the project with consultants and clients.• Assuring quality according to the specification and accepted method statements.

Project : Ceylon Electricity Board Housing Complex Project, Norochcholai, Sri Lanka.• Overall site supervising• Managing site staff and monitoring the project's progress• Reading and understanding civil, structural and services drawings• Producing procurement schedules• Ensuring that work activities have been carried out in accordance with the plans, and specifications• Assisting the Project Manager in identifying, mitigating, and managing project risks• Preparing the daily reports, weekly reports, and monthly reports• Conduct Site Meetings and Progress Review Meetings• Carrying out setting out works and establishing the level and survey control for the construction• Liaising with Structural & MEP team and Client staff• Reviewing measurements and contractual payments of civil works and contractor’s bills.• Coordinating clients and subcontractors for smooth progress
