Lucid Consulting is an Australian Engineering Consultancy Firm that has offices located in Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Canberra, Darwin, Alice Springs and Brisbane.My role is an Electrical Engineer specializing in Building Services and Infrastructure. I have worked on over 20+ projects in varying sectors in the past two years:Project Exposure:1. Universities - University of Adelaide & Flinders University2. Schools - DfE, DIT & CESA schools3. Role: Project Manager (Remained the same)• Promoted to next grade during the annual employee appraisal cycle owing to performance in managing overall project during COVID and ensuring considerable project progress by implementing different execution strategies while maintaining the safety of staff, workers and other stakeholders.

Role: Project ManagerReporting to Chairman/Board of Directors, I managed the construction of a mid-scale waterpark from design stage to completion. This involved monitoring the project from a hybrid management/technical perspective.Management Role Project Planning & Monitoring through effective tools (MS Projects, Primavera, etc) Monitor project costs and quality to ensure the profitability and technical performance of the project and develop robust strategy to correct variances to scope, budget and/or schedule. Risk Evaluation & Mitigation through periodical review of Project Risk Register Overseeing the overall tender process of selection of contractors, sub-contractors and key suppliers – following CIDA and FIDIC procedures.  Issue periodical progress updates (through presentations, emails, etc) to Board of Directors (Project Sponsor) regarding key project updates – including costs and timelines Technical Role (Electrical) Reviewed the electrical power demand calculations for the entire waterpark which included peak/off-peak load schedule estimation to determine transformer selection and implement standby power strategies.  Reviewed drawings and schedules for overhead and underground power-line systems. Reviewed the low voltage system design for the park which included Transformers, MSB, MDB, DB and Power Feeder Pillars.  Ensured that designs are completed in accordance with regulatory standards and codes such as IEC 60364 (AS 3000), EN 50522 and HD384.

Role: Deputy Project ManagerManaged the development of a go-kart track in Nuwara Eliya to spread awareness of go-karting in Sri Lanka and improve the brand-recognition of Sri Lanka Karting Circuit throughout the Island. The role included:• Developed the overall technical concept by gathering detailed requirements from Project Sponsor. • Developed and monitored the overall project plan – to ensure project deliverables were met.• Developed the overall budget and managed to implement the project within the allocated budget.• Worked with Engineers, Technicians, International Go-Kart Consultants to develop the layout – include tarmac specifications, lighting requirement, safety barrier designs, customer facilities. • Obtained all necessary permits and approvals for the development and operational phase.• Successfully coordinated among different contractors (civil, mep, signage, etc) and logistic companies to ensure timely implementation of project.

Role: Project Coordinator / Project Engineer• Reporting to the Project Manager, I was involved in the revamping of an overall restaurant complex of the karting circuit. My main technical responsibility was design and implementation of building services (Electrical, Plumbing, Fire, etc.). This included the development of design drawings using AutoCAD, inspecting contractors’ work (snagging), reviewing & approving shop-drawings/ as-built drawings and ensuring compliance to relevant standards.• Apart from this, I supported the Project Manager with daily oversight of all assigned project activities, construction contractor management, coordinated internal resources and managed external project stakeholders.

• Involved in the Research, Development & Implementation of an Electric Go-Kart. During my time as a trainee, my responsibility was the installation, wiring and programming of the AC Induction Motor controller and Battery Management System.

Active member of the outlier team which involved detecting faults in Asymmetric DigitalSubscriber Line (ADSL) and Internal Protocol Television (IPTV) and repairing them atcustomer premises. Involved in the Planning and Analysis division in designing newconnections and assessing new Multi-service access nodes (MSANs).
