I am a CPA and CBV with a unique combination of entrepreneurial skills and highly technical finance experience. I am passionate about technology and how it's changing the world we live in. I am the Co-Founder of FinanceYOU and Haystack Africa. We are a social enterprise based in Kigali, Rwanda, with the goal of elevating the accounting industry in East Africa. We consulted with over 10 companies across East Africa with funding ranging from $300 thousand to $50 million and trained over 500 students through our online learning platform. Prior to co-founding FinanceYOU, I worked for 3 years at Duff & Phelps where my practice focused on business valuation, damages quantification and M&A advisory services. I also have 3 years’ experience in public accounting at EY in Toronto, Los Angeles and San Francisco, working with a broad range of clients; from the financial sector to manufacturing, and both public and private entities reporting under both IFRS and US GAAP.
