As a class clown in early and middle school, I was always driven by seeing a smile or laugh in familiar faces. According to my mom, the future of this boy was clear: his interest in interacting with people will make him a good psychologist. Sorry mom, once I discovered Python seeing laughing faces seemed minor compared to working software. Combining this interest with my passion to understand nature and it's components guided me to the interesting intersection of biology and informatics. I'm interested in modelling living systems, using the power of statistics to extract insights from data and use machine learning because it's main stream (and it can be useful for predicting and understanding patterns in data by the way!). My sarcasm has developed for the worst, but I still love to see people laughing and humorous, insightful conversations. Please reach out if you like to chat about bugs in nature or software and have a productive day!
