Pascal Blais is a Canadian animation director and producer, currently heading Pascal Blais Animation, a company renowned for delivering top-tier animation services to the advertising industry.As former Head of Animation at MPC Montreal, Pascal contributed to over 35 VFX-driven feature films and major episodic series for all leading streaming platforms. Prior to that, he founded and led Pascal Blais Studio for 35 years, where his creative vision earned global recognition and numerous awards. His studio attracted acclaimed talents like Alexander Petrov, Rob Valley, and Cordell Barker, producing iconic works such as Sylvain Chomet's "The Old Lady and the Pigeons," which garnered international awards and an Academy Award® nomination.In 2000, his studio claimed the coveted Oscar® for Alexander Petrov’s animated short, "The Old Man and the Sea."A creative force, Pascal expanded his studio’s expertise from traditional animation to stop-motion, clay animation, 3D, mixed media, and more.
