As a consultant, engineer, and data scientist I help you to make the right decisions for strategy purposes or process improvements. I untangle data spaghetti to have a better understanding. I collect unstructured data from internet and transform it into value. I combine, manipulate, analyze data. I visualize data or do predictive analysis to create insights.I’m comfortable in complex environments where there are more unknowns than knowns. It calls on my analytics, improvisation, and creativity skills. Through my diverse background in engineering and business administration, in two different countries, I’m always aware of the bigger picture, not just the details.Already as a small boy I liked the unknown. I loved Lego technics. However, I never followed the instructions but through improvisation and creativity I tried to build what I had seen outside (trucks, cranes, attractions from the fun fair, etc.). I sometimes succeeded, and sometimes failed.I have never stopped entering unknown territory. After a first career in the Netherlands in the Wastewater management sector I moved to France to work in the Hydropower industry. After a short stop in the microelectronics world got a Master (in French) Energy Economics and taught myself python and R. I started of a new career as self-employed and have founded a company WattaBase to support decision making for various players in the wind turbine sector in France.
